Creating a Quartz Crystal in Blender – in Two Minutes

CGMatter uses a Cell Fracture modifier to break apart a cylinder, sculpts on some detail with Dynotopo and then does some super simple tricks with Glass and Translucent BSDF shaders and BAM! – You have a quartz crystal.
