I am hoping the group will provide a local networking opportunity in connection with the local arts scene, filmmakers, game developers, arts colleges, and architects here in Philadelphia. I aspire to hold social in-person meetups from time to time when there are local animation festivals or related events. Meanwhile the interactive Zoom meetings (in a shared time zone and language) will be a perfect complement to the many other excellent online resources, and hopefully valuable to beginners.
