BBlenRig is the free rigging system used in several Blender Open Movie projects. Its goal is to enable users to develop film-quality rigged characters, regardless of their rigging experience.
What sets BlenRig 6 apart is its Interactive Rigging Assistant Guide, which assists the user throughout the rigging process, from beginning to end. This guide not only provides step-by-step instructions with text and illustrative images, but it also automates more than half of the work involved.
We are in an ongoing effort to make quality rigging easier and more accessible to the users. There are lots of plans for the future too, so stay tuned!

Hey Juan, I am still in the process of learning Blenrig but that’s one hell of an effort. The rigging guide is fantastic!
Thanks CGDive! There are still many things to do, but hopefully this can bring high quality rigging closer to non rigger users!
The hope is that with all the plans we have for the future, BlenRig will become more flexible, as in becoming modular, and will support more rig types, etc.
