The Yorubu Village Desert Scene Tutorial | POLYCOSM and Adobe

0

Christina Myrvold writes:

Yorubu Village is a collaborative effort between the YouTube channel POLYCOSM and Adobe. The educational four-part series details the creation of a unique desert village using Photoshop, Substance 3D Modeler (VR), Blender, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 5.

Blender played an integral part in this workflow, as we needed to prepare the sculpted models before texturing in Painter. That included remeshing the models in order to get a low-poly version, and adding UVs to our models prior to export. This technique applies to any high-poly model (regardless of where it was sculpted) that needs to be prepared for texturing.
