Blender Caustics Hack | Full Workflow Tutorial

0

djtutorials writes:

This tutorial covers a realistic caustics rendering and compositing technique to reduce overall render times for single frame and animations by compositing together LuxCore Render caustics and Cycles. The tutorial will cover how to switch between materials and how to render out and composite the layers to create a seamless image or image sequence.

Also linked below is a "teaser" animation showing a proof of concept on how the technique can be applied into a scene with other objects. I have also provided a link to a project download that provides all the items needed to recreate this composited technique.
