Soft8Soft writes:

Verge3D 4.3 comes with tools that allow the Blender artist to create highly interactive VR apps with ease. These can be accessed just like a regular web page, and launched on standard VR headsets. No coding is required to create such metaverse-like content!

This demo features:

  • walking around using pre-modeled collision mesh
  • grabbing and throwing things with both hands
  • interacting with home appliances
  • audio effects and music

This should be tagged commercial content.

  2. Well this already works in the browser inside Twitter on iPhone. Great job. Definitely on the list of things to watch.

  3. It requires you to give up your Blender scripts folder in favor of its own - so if I have other addons or scripts I need, I'm out of luck.

  4. Well that’s certainly a consideration in a Production environment. Although I have to switch configurations around on a project by project basis so careful pipeline design needed.
