We used the Bing ChatGPT AI to write a complete Blender addon for us. Then we used it to improve the usability of the Stable Diffusion AI in Blender 🤯

Artificial Intelligence has become so powerful that we can use it not just to automate simple tasks, but create actually useful Blender addons from scratch. We used the new power of Bing with ChatGPT to make it churn out a Blender addon that adds shortcuts to the image editor to easily cycle through the available images using page up and page down. You can download and try out the addon here.

We then incorporated the addon into another addon - Dream Textures. With Dream Textures you can use the Stable Diffusion AI right inside Blender to create textures, concept art and more. That means we used an AI to improve another AI. And it raises the question whether AI-generated code should be accepted in Blender or not.
