Typical tutorial, obvious thing stretched into 11 minutes video. Shortly: replace hi-poly geo in geometry nodes with simple proxy using switch node and “is viewport” node… done!
Of course for some advanced user this is obvious because there is no magic button..
At least you can understand him very good.. there are some non-native english tutorials.. which i can’t even understand subtitles and played slower (okay i’m also non-native englisch..)
AND he really makes a good job on describing this (not just swirly whirly with the mouse cursor) and explains what he is doing.. He also writes:
