Hey Everyone! In this video I show how to use a mist pass in Blender in order to add procedural mist to any shot or 3d scene of your choice. This technique is super useful to create a cinematic look for your projects. Enjoy and let us know what you would like to see next on the channel.
I am a cinematographer based in Los Angeles. I have been using Blender for many years now in creating basic 3d VFX for films. I am one of the creator's of an asset based add-on for blender called LightArchitect (www.lightarchitectaddon.com) that allows pre-visualization of Industry Level lighting and camerawork inside of Blender.

Nice. There are plenty of tutorials about adding mist to a Blender scene, this is the first I have seen that discusses the differences when live footage is involved.
