The pivot point is one thing I struggle more each time I export as I want it correctly placed in the asset as in blender, but at the same time in UE I want it to be placed in the right coordinates otherwise I have to reassemble all my project asset by asset using your method.

This could work when I have few assets and a little project, but when I have a more complicated archviz project I can't work that way.

Datasmith is the only working well fir this, but it lacks for other reasons related to materials translation or related to meshes. The Datasmith addon for blender seems to not be developed any more since long time.

    • You are using the wrong FBX importer in Unreal!

      Try file>import into level
A different FBX import dialog will open, check "bake pivot into vertex" and import.
