This time I decided to explore some older technology: the VCR. I 3D modeled and animated the VCR and all of the insides. I did however purchase a few 3D models for the VHS tape, Betamax, and two of the TVs. As usual, I had to add a few details to the inside. Really fun to take these apart and see how they work. The magnetic tape was the most challenging part in blender - I used a curve with about 18 Hook modifiers and system of bones to control them. Really tedious to animate but I like how it turned out.
