2022 is shaping up to be a big year for Blender: It has just been announced that Blender will be present at two huge events this summer, the Annecy Festival and SIGGRAPH. This news comes exactly a month after the announcement of the 2022 Blender Conference after a two-year pandemic-imposed hiatus.
2022 is a big year for Blender, celebrating 20 years of Open Source and the return to big events such as SIGGRAPH and Annecy Festival to connect with the community and the industry.

The Annecy festival will take place first, with Blender having its own booth at MIFA from the 14th until the 17th of June. Part of the Blender Studio team will be present, with Sprite Fright marking the first Open Movie project nominated at the Annecy International Animation Festival. There will also be a special screening of Sprite Fright with a live re-orchestrated version of the soundtrack on the 16th of June.
Blender will be present at the world's largest computer graphics festival for the first time since the 2.80 release. This year, the team will be sporting a bigger booth, open to both community and industry veterans (sometimes both). Get a special discount when you register by using the code SBF22.
