‘Pole’: Final Devlog

Hey I am Johnny and just finished the final devlog for our game Pole… Not really a devlog though since we lost all the assets needed to continue the series, while we would have loved to keep going and finish it we need to end it here since I don’t wanna start from scratch haha. WOW! Bit of a ‘schoolboy error’ keeping all of your assets on ONE machine with no redundant backups – for FOUR YEARS! What were you thinking?
The mainboard might be toast, but is there no way to recover the hard drive’s data by connecting it to another machine and using recovery software.
Thankfully the important stuff is all on a external drive so it’s not too big a deal. But the stuff for the devlogs is gone and that’s the main hit
Don’t think their was much thinking going on haha.
We may be able to retrieve it, but its the hardrive itself thats toast. Since we are gonna start development of a new game anyway its great timing haha. Gonna make sure to back stuff up this time!
