The ever-growing Grease Pencil just got a new modifier courtesy of Henrik Dick: The Envelope modifier, which unlocks all sorts of "grungy" art styles with ease.

Envelop generates or modified the stroke using "envelope" shapes, check the commit
El nuevo modificador crea lineas tomando la distancia entre puntos o deforma la linea original

Henrik describes this modifier's behavior as "[...]connects all points that have n points between them". The video below shows me testing the new modifier, and how simply it can help achieve interesting art styles when combined with some other GP modifiers:
The modifier has a "fill" mode which creates the Envelope fills and deletes the original stroke, a "Segment" mode which achieves the same result but keeps the original stroke, and a "Deform" mode which deforms the original stroke according to the envelope.
