Is this the most viewed Blender tutorial ever?

1

At the time of writing, 'How to Create Robotic Arms in Blender (Part 1)' by Polyfjord has a staggering 26.7 MILLION views - and it was only released three weeks ago!

In this tutorial we'll use Blender to model and rig some Doc Ock inspired robotic arms, and attach them to a motion capture animation!

For completeness, I'll add part 2 as well even though it had far less views:

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. The Polyfjord tutorials are all quite good and having watching this one - it is too. But that's still a staggering number of views in such a short period of time. Congrats to Polyfjord!
