I'm often accused of being superlative when it comes to Blender's development and new features, but I feel that I can let loose when describing this latest massive performance improvement courtesy of previous GSoC participant and frequent Blender contributor Falk David, and is co-authored by Yann Lanthony.

While the patch in question is still being reviewed, early tests in the patch build showed incredible performance improvements, sometimes reaching the 900 times mark!
