Blender Studio Releases "Watchtower" Production Tracking Tool

The Blender Studio has been steadily revealing the tools that have spawned from the production of their latest Open Movie, Sprite Fright. Having such little production gems released to the public is one of the particularities of the Open Movie format that make it so useful to the community at large. The latest of such tools is Watchtower, a visual and highly responsive production tracking tool.

In a post on the Blender Studio Blog, Francesco Siddi announces the release of Watchtower and gives an overview of its inner workings. It communicates with production trackers such as Kitsu via its API or with JSON files to build its database, which it then renders in it's web app format. Check out the video below for an overview:
