The massive Blender 3.0 release is just right around the corner (less than a month away!), and the Blender Foundation has just released a call for content for an 80-minute community-driven video as part of the release event.
Call for content! What is Blender for you? Describe it in a 2-minute video and be part of the Blender 3.0 release event. More info at https://t.co/y5rFOLpDUc #b3d
— Blender ? (@Blender) November 8, 2021
The video format will be similar to the Bcon20 "Together Apart" video, which you can find below:
The call for content specifies 2-minute long video submissions, themed around and starting with the "Blender is.." phrase, with the purpose being to show the practical part Blender plays in its community's lives. The deadline for the submission of the video is the 25th of November, with a written proposal of the idea to be submitted and validated beforehand.

Man, I am deeply in love with this software, the people behind it and it's community.
Blender and myself, it feels like some old couple, married for what feels like eternity. We don't always agree on everything and sometimes it makes me scratch my head thinking "What the hell?" but every day when I start this software it feels like...I dunno...home, in a software related way to take out some of the weirdness of my statement here. ^^
I agree @CHRIS - Blender has been there for me for over a decade . . . even when other people/things have failed. Huge shout-out to all the Blender team. You've helped me keep my sanity (okay maybe I'm still insane, but hey . . . LOL) and been a huge part of my creative-life. Proud to have supported Blender along the way and love being a part of this incredible family. There's no other family like it. :)
Blender saves lives… Blender is Light… Tom Rosendal is enlightened… may God protect him S2
