Nodevember 2021 Highlights: Week 1 - Taking Form

0

It's that time of the year again! The massive month-long celebration when node-wizards crawl out of their procedurally generated caves and shine with their incredible prowess, #Nodevember, is upon us. This year's official prompt list erred on the abstract side, with the goal of having more varied entries per prompt (and me crying even more at the creative geniuses' on display). Speaking of prompts, another particularity of this year's edition is the fact that prompts span 2 days, to mitigate the pressure of daily entries and try to prevent burnout. Blender Artists is also actively participating in this year's edition: Tag your posts with #nodevember to be featured on the official BA Nodevember gallery!

Geometry Nodes is the undoubted star of this year's Nodevember, with the toolset having transformed over the past year from the shy new kid on the block to a procedural powerhouse, thanks to the incredible efforts and development speed of the Geometry Nodes development team. This year, I will also be featuring interesting Node-oriented educational material which appeared during the week at the end of the post. With that out of the way, let's jump right into the highlights of the first week of Nodevember 2021, with form-giving prompts galore:

Day 1-2: Three Sided

Day 3-4: Four Sided

Day 5-6: Five Sided

Day 7-8: Six Sided

Educational Material of the Week

This post is part of a series featuring some Blender-based Nodevember posts that I thought are worth highlighting(they are all amazing). Check out this year's prompts here. Tag your Blender Artists' posts with #nodevember to become part of the official Nodevember 2021 gallery and a chance to be featured in the weekly Nodevember roundup here on BlenderNation! You can read all articles in this series here.
