Experimental builds are bundled with similar script ... does your version has some pros? Thank you for more info.

Didn't know that existed! It's similar, but not the same. Seems to be a bit abandoned, crashed at least on my V3 alpha.
My add-on is targeted on maintaining a history of previous project states, what the old one isn't, afaik.
I'm creating a separate, time-stamped directory ("repository", if you like) on each F12, which can be used to fork from that state when required.
Mine has the ability to freely choose where the base directory is, eg on a backupped network drive.
One can freeze a project's history by zipping the base directory.
So yes, I think mine has some points, so I'll continue mine. The old one has some points I don't need for now.
The reason I wrote it is to solve my own needs, thought others might benefit too. I just lost some time because I had to give up an idea and wasn't able to resume at a former stage.
