Pumpkin Modeling 6 Ways

1

Joey Carlino writes:

In this one we cover 6 different methods of modeling a pumpkin in Blender:

  1.  the displacement modifier
  2. the screw modifier
  3. the array modifier
  4. using curves
  5. poly modeling
  6. sculpting

While some methods might not be the most practical, each is worth exploring and could be helpful in other projects.

Enjoy!

  1. Of course, this will all be obsolete when the Pumpkin Node is finished as part of the Everything Nodes project.

Nah, just kidding. I like the idea of coming at a problem from different ways. As an artist, you need a good toolkit.
A very good tutorial and just in time for Halloween or Decorative Gourd Season or whatever you call it in your neck of the woods.
    Thanks!
