Stefan Werner's Talk About his Cycles Work at Tangent

Tangent Animation abruptly closed down about two weeks ago, tragically laying off hundreds of incredibly talented artists and engineers. One such person is Stefan Werner,  the former Lead Render Developer at the studio, a frequent Blender contributor, and a much-loved community member.

Stefan was in the unfortunate position of being laid off just two days before a scheduled presentation at Open Source Days 2021, and he managed to give a brilliant talk on his work with Cycles during his tenure at Tangent, how it was forked into an open-source production renderer, his work on hdCycles, and more.
