Once blender 3.0 is out will this still work?
Yes. The cycles-x branch will merge with the main 3.0 hopefully sometime next month. So all the performance and features of K-CyclesX will continue to work great. I will be updating the builds for K-CyclesX regularly.

Thank you! And sold!
So I'm presuming the cycles x results are done using cuda because with optix - on barbershop for example I'm getting a render time of 1m10s on a 3060ti. How does k-cycles compare with cycles x using optix on a 3090?
It seems fast for 3060ti maybe you are using adaptive sampling. On my setup using on 3090 Optix with the default K-Cycles compare with Blender 3.0 RC I am getting a 20% speed improvement.
Just the d lefault aettings from wjen the file is openeded apart from changing to gpu compute. Tho i did mqke another comment that i had typod the time .. actually 1m40 not 1m10 :)
Okay that makes more sense. The time with 3090 for K-CyclesX was 47sec vs Blender 3.0 was 59sec.
Thanks :)
