Blender 2.93 Update: What is different with modifiers and the Boolean modifier?

2

25games writes:

The Boolean modifier performs operations on meshes that are otherwise too complex to achieve with as few steps by editing meshes manually.

If you have watched my previous Boolean Modifier tutorial then you will recognize that basics of the modifier are still the same in Blender 2.9 compared to all versions 2.8 and below.

But there happened some rework and not everything is working than before. My first video still gives you a more detailed introduction to the single modes of the modifier and I will focus on the reworked functions in this tutorial but give you a decent overview of the modes as well.

25games was founded in 2016 by two friends: Severin & Simon. Our first goal was to publish a action-adventure game called Kordex. Sadly we wasn't able to find enough support to continue development. However, our Youtube channel and the pixel community was growing nicely. So we decided to continue producing videos for gamedev for you! If you have any problems with game production, feel free to contact us and we try to help!

  1. Hi!
The "exact" solver has the considerable advantage in precision modeling of working even if the two operators have partially or fully coplanar faces.
