Previously we looked at using the Knife tool to cut shapes out of an image plane, in order to extrude and transform those parts to create a 3D model. Alternatively, you can also create a cutter object beforehand, and then use Knife Project to cut that out of the image plane. This has a couple of advantages which we’ll explore in this video.
