New Edge Scrolling for Node Editor

1

As Blender's ever-faster development train chugs along, major show-stopping new features seem to be announced every week. However, some small and incredibly useful updates dealing with long-standing paper-cuts can always be found burried between these massive features.

This is the case for this latest patch by Lukas Toenne, which implements edge scrolling behaviour into the node editor! This quality of life update will make dealing with larger node graphs easier by eliminating the need to zoom out and in every time a node needs to be moved. Check out Pablo Vazquez's enthusiastic demonstration of the feature on the video above.

  1. How do we turn off or adjust the speed of the Edge Scrolling? In Blender 3.0 the speed is intense and I'm constantly being dragged way off screen. it's hindering my ability to work in the way I'm used to. I've checked through the preferences and I can't seem to find anything.
