Valentin Remy - Sun Shader
I made a Sun shader, really happy how the animation turned out !
byu/Chpouky inblender
Valentin Remy's amazing sun shader stands out in this mesmerizing animation. The render references an iconic scene in the Sunshine movie, where the Sun is arguably the main character. Valentin's shader manages to capture this majesty, with the added bonus of it being animated as well. The shader is available for sale on Valentin's Gumroad.
Manuel Santner - Summer in the City
Next up is Manuel Santner's beautiful stylized animation, "Summer in the City". The scene was made entirely in Blender 2.93 LTS including compositing and video editing. The rendering was done in cycles at 256 samples per frame. The rendering was done using the Sheepit render farm, which brought the total render time to five hours from an expected two days on his personal PC. Check out his Blendernation post for a full detailed breakdown of his process building this scene!
Themightyknight02 - Cargo Shuttle undergoing pre-flight checks in the blazing sun
Over from the Blender subreddit is Themightyknight02's dazzling vehicle render. The super crisp ultra-wide render manages to successfully instill the aircraft with a sense of massive weight and scale. The artist used Decalmachine decals among other things in the making of this render. Keep an eye out on his Reddit profile as they have promised to post more angles of this render soon!
Rishi Karthik - Another Room
Last but not least is Rishi Karthik's Archviz render, which is a perfect example of a simple subject matter enhanced by top-notch lighting. The great soft lighting is very evocative, and the overarm warm hues of the image give the scene a narrative feel. The revolver used is a model found on Sketchfab by artist DJMaesen.
