Juan Pablo Roldan - Life Hutch
First up is Colombian concept artist Juan Pablo Roldan's awesome work on Love, Death & Robot's "Life Hutch". The industry veteran worked on these pieces for Blur Studio using Blender and photoshop. Check out his Artstation post for the full image set of this concept.
Mason Menzies - Preservation
Next up is Mason Menzies' "Preservation". Inspired by Olafur Eliasson's "Riverbed" exhibit and the Sooke Potholes river, this artwork was the result of two evenings of work, using trees, logs, and grass from Megascans, and everything else from Poliigon. The scene features gorgeous lighting and ambiance, check out his Artstation post for a closer look at the assets and more.
Quentin Gabriel - The Exchange
Ubisoft Singapore senior concept artist Quentin Gabriel is working on a personal Star Wars project and has been releasing keyframes from it over the past week on his Artstation page. One of these keyframes is this artwork, "The Exchange", which shines by its lighting and colors. Check out his Arstation to see the full series.
Iakov Aizenberg - Sukhoi Su-57
Next up is modeler Iakov Aizenberg's impeccable "Sukhoi Su-57". The detail in the plane's model is impressive, making full use of Iakov's experience as a military engineer for the Sukhoi aviation company. Everything was done in Blender, except for the final post-processing being done in Photoshop. Check out his Artstation post for more renders of this model.
Vishnu Menon - Old English Study
The last artwork for today is Vishnu Menon's "Old English Study" over from the Blender subreddit. This artwork shines (pun intended) by its soft warm lighting and great use of volumetrics and depth of field, all of which work in tandem to set the mystical yet approachable tone of the render.
