VSE Image Crop Transformation Gets Massive Performance Boost

Blender's Video Sequence Editor was not spared from the legendary Blender Performance Improvements Week™ (working title), with Image Crop Transformation seeing a 15X increase in performance!

The patch, submitted by Blender developer Jeroen Bakker, practically means that transforms can now be done in real-time while playing a sequence with no frame drops. Tintwotin shared a few tests of this patch on his Twitter, and the impressive results speak for themselves:
