In the beginning of May, Krita launched their new development fund based on Blender's own development fund, the code of which is, in true Blender fashion, open-source.

This new development fund was launched as part of a month-long drive to boost funding support for their upcoming Krita 5 major release. A tech report on the code migration process was published by Carl Schwan.
Tech report about migrating our dev fund code to Krita's website. KDE will be doing it next!
