Pose Library Getting Complete Overhaul for Blender 3.0

Blender Developer Extraordinaire Sybren Stüvel has made a blog post on the Blender Developers Blog extensively describing the new Pose Library system shipping with Blender 3.0.

The pose library is an extension of the Asset Browser, also in heavy development. The new pose library has many advantages over the old one:

  • Preview images are embedded in the poses themselves.
  • It's available in the 3D viewport
  • Poses are always available
  • Opens Doors for more sources of Pose Libraries
