What is it?
The future fortification kit is a dystopian / decay style kit of parts or modular 3d assets that lets you quickly snap together a scene in a way that shortens turnaround time from concept to compositor. Its bunker style is highly popular in it’s genre, the file is easy to use. It comes with a “Kit” collection – the parts essentially as well as one pre-built scene showing how the parts can be used.
Scene set up
The video will give you a pretty good idea, but most importantly, the seams are set up in a way where it helps texturing by hiding tiles in corers or nook, away from the eye’s gaze. Maps used are JPG format and is “packed” in the Blend file meaning no lost maps on opening the file.
With the content being as modular as it is, it would be very easy to get the kit into Substance for those interested.Please see the video as a walk-through of the file as is online, as well as an example scene setup.
