Introdrucing Auric, an Albino superhero from Africa. This project started off as a mere test of the new EEVEE Depth of Field in blender 2.93.
I created the main character a while ago, but made him in 3D with the new human generator add-on with a couple of tweaks to match my design.
As i rendered out several stills, i got inspired to turn this into a short film for what Auric stands for.
Here in Zimbabwe and other parts of Africa people with Albinism have faced several challenges including being marginalized by society, the situation has vastly improved, but there is need to do more. I hope this inspires someone out there.
Ultimately the project is dedicated to anyone who has ever been looked down upon because of their physique, race, gender, political or religious belief. You have the power to rise & overcome all persecutions.
The animation is not perfect & I keep learning to improve my animation skills. Created in blender 2.92 rendered in 2.93 EEVEE. Thank you for reading and watching.
