The Asset Library add-on is here to help you, make reuse and recycle your digital assets.

Version 2 new features:

  • You can now select where your assets will be saved
  • You can have multiple directories where you can save assets
  • You can select or remove directories from your libraries
  • You don't have to worry about losing your assets if you reinstall windows or install anew version of blender, all you have to do is reinstall the addon navigate to the directory folder and load the previous library directories you created
  • Faster Ui
  • Faster draw calls
  • Improved interface
  • Load custom render previews for your assets
  • Create Multiple Libraries
  • Reuse your meshes, curves, materials, shaders, collections and more

Don't remodel things you have already made just because you cant remember where you saved them or the name of the file, just add the objects to your library and get them when you want them

Like the name says, this is a library of your assets, simple and straight forward, managing assets in blender is one of the most challenging things, and this addon is your own personal solution.

The UI is minimum and the functionality is exactly what is needed:

  • Add new to library
  • Get assets from library

This addons supports, all kinds of objects, Materials and collections

Setting up materials can be time consuming, save time by reusing the materials, textures or shaders you have made already or download them from blender swap or anywhere you get your materials and add them to the library

Recycle your models, kitbash your models and more details, make copies with slight changes and save the variations for later use.

Collections are a great way to save multiple objects, save the ones you want to reuse.
