[non-blender] Allusion – Open Source Visual Library Management

Hello community!Additionally, I would like to emphasize that this is a non-commercial project. Our team is deeply rooted in the Blender community and so both the app and the source code are available for free on all platforms from our website. We truly hope that this will improve your life as an artist!

Throughout the past two years, our team has developed an application that was designed to help artists manage their visual libraries – A single place that contains their entire collection of references, inspiration and any other kinds of images. We call it Allusion!

Features include:

  • Watched Folders: No need to import images, just drop them into your reference folder
  • Tag Hierarchies: More organized than regular lists, and useful when browsing for images
  • Searching: You can easily find any image based on various criteria

Additionally, I would like to emphasize that this is a non-commercial project. Our team is deeply rooted in the Blender community and so both the app and the source code are available for free on all platforms from our website. We truly hope that this will improve your life as an artist!

Find out more about Allusion here. And don't forget to tell your friends and colleges :)

Yeah super nice to work on this. Been a long road and glad we finally we able to release a pretty stable versions. Still some papercuts but we are fixing those.

  1. That looks like a great Application, I was just in need of that, just last week I was trying to figure out how bigger studies are managing their textures since mine have become quite a mess with multiple folders so this one is a livesaver, thank you very much!
