  1. Very good, good audio, good animation, lighting, rendering, etc. Very impressive for a fan project. I wonder is this rendered in eevee or cycles, some parts make me think cycles and some part eevee so I dunno.

3 people in the main 3d tasks (including me), one music composer, two modelling artists helping out with assets.

Entirely in our free time, took about 6 months... Thank you very much :)

      • I watched it again this morning. I picked up loads of extra detail this time, love the humans in the compound for scale. Oil streaks on the UAV nose. Love the ground shake under foot steps. I also read the credits this time and so I withdraw my previous question. Good luck to you all. Stay safe, Jeff. :0)

Looks amazing man! I love battle mechs, not so much the humaoid ones but I loved the runner!
Congrats to you and your team, great work!!

  3. Very nicely made! The special effects (smoke, fire, lasers, muzzle fire ...) are all very well done. So does the textures and movement of the robots, and so does nature. The sound too. Camera angles too.
Only the animation of the man with the beard (sec 0:57 to 1:01) is a bit too stiff, too unnatural in my opinion. There is also something strange with his lip-syncing there (uncanny valley). Could be improved with some extra work I think.
    Everything else is great!
    Good luck with your project!

  4. Impressive. Agree with MXD: lip sync was off and character animation unnatural. Use reference. Dialog needed polish and didn't care for the cliched end. Otherwise impressive effort.
