But....
I'm running 2.92.0 and it seems that the nodes had an update...
(Ill try to follow along in a fresh 2.91 install....)

How does the final animation in the example look so much smoother than my result? I subdevided the icosphere, but that didn't help. Looks like thee displacement is a bit low res...
Hi Erik, the displacement is procedural. The only limiting factor should be the resolution of your sphere mesh. Thanx, Manuel
