Play a mini D&D game on Sketchfab, made in Blender

VanillaBurp created an amazing tiny Dungeons & Dragons game in an interactive scene on Sketchfab. Just follow the rules and have a mini adventure :) This model is an entry for the Forest Hideaway challenge.

To play:

  • If you have played D&D before, then this will feel very familiar, if you haven’t then no stress and just follow my guides and annotations!
  • Use this website if you don’t have your own D20 die to roll.
  • Use the Scripts to determine the outcome of your rolls.

Rules:

  • You may start by reading the Introduction.
  • Your goal is to determine which creature lives here by completing ALL annotations.
  • You can read annotations 2-4 in any order, except 5 (this should be the final annotation).
  • You can roll only once per action you decide to take;
  • If an annotation suggests two actions, you can do both in any order but just once!

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!).
