Geometry Nodes development seems to constantly be fulfilling the long-dormant wishes of the Blender community. After releasing the initial implementation of a spreadsheet editor last week, this week Geometry Nodes development team member Hans Goudey has graced us with new Primitive Nodes!
New Primitive Mesh nodes! The dream of adding a UV Sphere and not losing its settings the moment you click somewhere by mistake is close to become real.
Thanks Hans! Thanks Devs! Thanks Blender Development Fund members! ??

What this means is that primitive shapes added via these nodes can be ulteriorly modified, no matter the complexity of the node/modifier tree coming after! This opens up new procedural workflows with even more flexibility from the get-go.
Download the latest Blender experimental build to get your hands on some nodal primitive goodness!
