Pablo Garcia writes:

Move your iOS/iPadOS device in any direction, VirtuCamera will capture your movements and send them over Wi-Fi to your camera in Blender, in realtime!

You will get a natural feeling of moving through the scene as if it were real thanks to the viewport video feed, just like shooting a video with your smartphone camera.

Main Features:

  • 6 Degrees of Freedom
  • Viewport Video Feed
  • Keyframe recording
  • Playback controls
  • Focal length control
  • Motion Smoothing

It works on Blender 2.83, 2.90, 2.91 and 2.92. An ARKit capable iPhone or iPad is also required.

You can get the app from the App Store and the add-on from our website.

  1. Why Apple, Apple uses slave labor to make there I phones and I pads and other Apple products. Why not Android Phones or tablets.

    • probably because of a required TrueDepth camera, which many apple devices have, while most android devices don't come with anything comparable ...
