Hello there!
Denoising is great! But the built in denoisers aren't as good as they can be!
That's why I made SID, the Super Image Denoiser, that denoises your renders with far more precision, keeping detail in places other methods fail!
It's features are not limited to precision denoising, but it has also multiple quality settings, which you can use to balance speed and precision!
In addition to that, the brand new feature: Temporal Denosing!
What that is? It uses Denoising data from the previous and next frame, to give a far more consistent denoising result! Perfect for animations! This and more you can get for free!
Here is how to can use it, it's simple as pie!:
You can reduce your samples and render on low power machines with no need to upgrade and get cleaner results than any other Denoiser!

Amazing work.
I'd be curious as to what the render time differences are between the group. If you're rendering a still image, then clearly you're going to be at a disadvantage if temporal denoising requires you to render X number of frames.
Also, if you kept the frames, is it possible to composite the different denoising methods into a singular movie strip with transition swipes? I think I'm the world's worst when it comes to spotting quality differences between two images that are side by side.
Well, obviously temporal denoiser for still images is nonsense, not only because you need so many more frames, but also because it's denoising quality is lower than the SID itself.
Temporal allows you to have more consistency between frames, not necessarily better quality.
I've thought about having them with transition swipes, but my video editing skills are. . . Well... That's the best I've mamaged :D
Here you go! :)

Many thanks!
I just got it and donated a bit. Thanks!
Thank you very much :)
