In this Video, I wanted to share with you the update for the Shader Library Add-on (version 1.07).
The Shader Library is a Free Blender Add-on I have been developing for a little while now. In this Version I had to make some adjustments under the hood and decided to make some additional improvements.
To download the Script or to see a full list of changes be sure to head over to our blog post.
As I mentioned in the Video, this Add-on can still be improved and if you guys have any suggestions be sure to let me know in the comments here or in the video.
I hope you find this add-on helpful and as always thanks for reading!

I think there is a real place for "unusual" materials and effects. If the library could have stuff that makes it "gaseous" or "electric" or "bio-slime" etc. those things would be good because ( a) there are a zillion material libraries that do wood and stone and metal and (b) while there are separate individual materials for water, fire, and so on, they aren't generally managed in an editor.
So, yeah--put in a bunch of special-effect things and you have something that's pretty unique!
