Can you just tell us in writing instead of forcing us to view a video? Those of us on metered connections can't afford to watch every effing video.

I am a Youtuber. Making videos is kinda my thing.
If you want to read about these features instead of watching a video, you might want to check out the documentation on blender.org.
A video gives a quick overview of some new features, if you want a text writeup, read the release notes.

Im not on metered connection, but I can read an article a lot faster than sit through a video - PLEASE put stuff in TEXT!!
Then go read an article? No one here is your employee. This is a guest post sharing a video from a youtube video maker with the category "VIDEOTUTORIALS". That part is obvious with text so i'm surprised you missed it.
.....CAPS DEMAND WITH NO MERIT!!
I heard the patrons on Patreon get everything in writing and wrapped up in a nice glossy envelope. :-)
+1 You're right.
But, all my thanks for this vid, until someone writes help for these features.
It's the lot of community functioning: everyone does what they can and what they want, how he wants.
Write an HowTo spends a lot of time...
But i'm agree with your request.
The tone if this comment is shortsighted and rude even if what you're asking is decent suggestion. This is a guest post from a YouTube channel sharing a video. Don't crap on them and claim they're forcing anything. That's like crapping on someone sharing their short film without also posting the screenplay and blocking for every moment. This person is a *video maker* on YouTube. There are tons of other resources to keep up to date on Blender development via text.
Thank you!
What a time to be alive !
Seriously... we're spoiled in content creation land. Once I can get back to donating regularly I will.
Everything is a choice. you have chosen to select this video and watch it. No one makes you do that. if you don't find it helpful well don't select it next time. People provide their videos for the benefit of the whole community. Even if a video isn't useful to me I really appreciate the fact that someone has actually gone to the trouble of making it. if you want text, don't click videos!!!!
Thanks, Cathal.
The fact that Blender is free brings out a lot of entitled people, unfortunately. I try to make my stuff as accessible as possible, but I'm a video creator, at the end of the day. I can't change the fundamental format of my content.
I spent time replying to these weird angry commenters and totally forgot to say great video thanks super helpful!
No problem. Glad it helped!
Thanks for posting! Sorry to see some people make it hard/weird...
It's just part of being an online creator, I'm afraid. As long as most people found it helpful, I'm happy.
Thanks, Decoded, great job as always! It's greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Awesome video that tells me what i can expect next in a short and uplifting way.
I apologize for all the spoilt, shortsighted whiney folks that should be forced to pay $200/month for Max or Maya and have 'no' regular updates, 'no' videos and 'no' helpfull community...
Just saying..
Thanks for posting!
As for those saying "post an article," can you please stop reading and posting comments about Blender and and write me a good short film screenplay instead? It would be much more helpful to me, personally, if you do what I want you to do. Ok, thanks.
Apart from the ridiculousness of poo pooing a free video that someone spent their time to create, a video shows the features in action. An article... I guess you can do screenshots?
Sorry, can you post this comment in the form of interpretive dance? I don't like reading stuff.
Absolutely!
Awesome video! Thanks Decoded!
