cogitas3d writes:

OrtogOnBlender is an orthognathic surgery planning add-on that offers a number of features not present in the native version of Blender.

Among them, we can highlight the reconstruction of computed tomographies from DICOM files. In addition to the reconstruction of meshes, the user can view the voxel data using the new tool prepared by the developer.

A short video lesson can be seen here:

More details about the tool can be accessed in this book chapter available online.

How to install OrtogOnBlender (Windows, Linux and Mac OS X).

I hope you enjoy it.

A big hug.

  1. This is frankly, stunning for Blender. Can't wait to try it out.

I work with the OpenKnee project (SimTK) via the Cleveland Clinic.
I'll definitely look into your add-on, looks like there is really interesting capabilities.

Also I'm getting into photogrammetry recently so I'll be checking that out too.
    Great!
