Curves Encyclopedia | Chapter 01

Karim Joseph writes:
In this curves encyclopedia series we will go through as many use cases of curves in Blender as I can think of. I find this to be useful, because it gives a broad overview of different curves techniques and workflows.
In this first chapter we discuss:
1. 2D Curves Modeling
2. Parent an Object to a Curve Control Point
3. Line Text Animation
4. SVG Vector File to 3D
5.a. Animate an Object along a Curve Method 1: Animate Path
5.b. Animate an Object along Curve Method 2: Animate OffsetHope some of this examples will be useful to you!

While we’re on the topic of curves. Can someone tell me if it’s possible to retain the curve normals from the vertices when we extract a curve from a mesh?
