MacOS + AMD GPU developers' help needed by Blender Devs

1

The Blender Developers need your help! They are looking for Blender users/developers who have experience with development on macOS with AMD Graphics cards to test the file on this bug report below, and hopefully provide some insights as to the solution.

The bug in question affects Z-Depth drawing of Grease Pencil strokes, distorting them both in the viewport and the compositor.

Blender user Berkehan Küçükaras managed to recreate the issue, and the Blender Developers Twitter account replied with the proper steps to follow to contribute! However, what is specifically needed by the team is development knowledge on this specific hardware set up, to help with the squashing of this bug.

Download the file and check the bug report on the link below, and spread the word far and wide!

  1. I thought amd support standards and Blender supports standards. Why these problems. Amd cards should be as compatible as nvidia. I hope 10 years later these problems will be resolved because 10 years has passed and these basic issues still there.
