Regular Grease Pencil developer Samuel Bernou has shared a glimpse of a tool he is currently developing: Viewport Timeline Scrubbing.
Hello world. First tweet of 2021 !
Started the year working on a viewport timeline scrubbing feature.
This aims to be integrated in the #b3d official #greasepencil tools add-on.
Already available as a standalone add-on (wip): https://t.co/7T72pKiLXb pic.twitter.com/dz7EgoiGG0— Samuel Bernou (@pullusb) January 9, 2021
Viewport Timeline Scrubbing is a quality-of-life improvement allowing to have clearer visual feedback when, well, scrubbing the timeline. Pablo Vazquez has already chimed in on the initial tweet suggesting that this feature be made accessible Blender-wide and not just in the GP editor. Feel free to make your voice heard if you agree with that sentiment! (I know I do)
This feature is currently available to test as a standalone add-on (available on the link below) and is currently planned to be integrated into the official Grease Pencil tools add-on.
