Blender Secrets - Dream UV

Jan van den Hemel writes:

Dream UV is a free add-on you can get from it's creator Bram Eulaer's Github page. It allows you to add textures to objects without having to labor over UV maps at all. It uses something called a "texture atlas". Floaters 2 footage by Karl Poyzer.

Get the add-on here, and check out Floaters here.

  1. Unfortunately after installing , I find there is no ribbon ...of course I know exactly how to do such things but it doesnot work.

    • The Dream UV tab (I assume that's what you mean with "ribbon") is only there when the object is selected in Edit Mode. In Object Mode, it's just not there. Perhaps that's the cause of confusion?

  2. sadly i dont understand what the video author is trying to explain here.
So it has a texture, so what? Whats the constraints on the uvs that the addon creates for you?
