Tired of Earth? Make your own world in Blender!
In this tutorial I'll show you how to setup a space environment with a procedural starry sky and texture your planet to make it look photo realistic. Also learn how to add clouds, atmosphere, and rotation to your celestial objects.

Daniel Grove

I love making art and telling stories. I'm a photographer primarily but have a deep love for CGI and VFX.

  1. This video is mislabeled. It says the presenter Daniel Grove but it is clearly George Lucas who I am glad is making those small personal films he always promised to return to.

  2. I watched this video a couple of days ago and it's pretty neat stuff. I am doing a space game and I did wonder just how I was going to do planets and this video appeared. Really interesting stuff. Having watched a couple of Danny's videos before, they are all worth the watch and replete with lots of info.
