The Blender Foundation has just announced that Amazon Web Services (AWS) signed up to the Blender Development Fund as a Patron level Member! This commitment of three years (!) aims to support the development of character animation tools and workflows within Blender.

This latest addition to the Blender Development funds closes out an incredible year that cemented Blender's position as the rising star of Open Source investments, with many industry behemoths joining the dev fund.
AWS coming on board means building on the Animation 2020 project and bolstering it with additional developers starting Q1 of 2021.
